Photo Editor
Job Description:
The Photo Editor is responsible for editing, enhancing, retouching, and preparing high-quality images for digital and print use. This role ensures all visual content meets brand standards, technical specifications, and creative objectives. The Photo Editor collaborates with designers, marketers, photographers, and content teams to deliver polished visual assets in a fully remote environment.
This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will be rejected.
Key Responsibilities
Edit, retouch, and enhance images for web, social media, advertising, and print materials
Adjust color correction, lighting, cropping, composition, and image quality
Remove imperfections and perform advanced retouching as required
Maintain visual consistency with brand guidelines
Prepare final images in appropriate file formats and resolutions
Organize and manage digital asset libraries
Collaborate with creative teams to meet project requirements
Ensure timely delivery of edited images
Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
Stay current with photo editing trends and software updates
Required Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5 years of professional experience in photo editing or image retouching
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (or equivalent tools)
Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual aesthetics
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with high-volume image editing workflows
Knowledge of print production standards
Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems
Experience in e-commerce, marketing, or media industries
Basic knowledge of graphic design principles
